Not all hospital stays are planned ones. In those instances, UTMB has your personal care needs covered.
Care Closets, located at all UTMB hospitals, fulfill basic needs for those faced with unexpected or lengthy hospital stays. Patients or their loved ones can find supplies like toiletries, clothes, and snacks, at no cost, within each closet.
The first closet opened in the John Sealy Hospital six years ago, and closets were soon established at all other UTMB hospital campuses in League City, Clear Lake, and Angleton Danbury.
Your generosity will ensure that when those in need step into a Care Closet, they will find it stocked with toiletries, clothes, and other items.
