Homecoming is more than a chance to reconnect with classmates—it is an opportunity to celebrate your class legacy and support the future of UTMB. Alumni celebrating reunion years are invited to participate in the Reunion Giving Challenges, a friendly competition that highlights the collective impact of each class.

Two awards will be presented during the Back to the Island Reunion Reception & Dinner on Friday evening:

The Spirit of Philanthropy Award recognizes the reunion class that contributes the highest total dollars for its reunion year.

The Reunion Cup honors the reunion class with the highest percentage of classmates who make a gift for their reunion year, demonstrating the power of participation and class pride.

The Classes of 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, and 2021 are eligible to compete in this year's challenges.

All gifts received by 6:00 p.m. on October 2, 2026, will count toward the competition. Registration fees are not included. Whether you are attending Homecoming or cheering on your class from afar, your participation helps strengthen your class standing and support the mission of UTMB.
