Student Lifeline Fund

UTMB Health students are defined by a drive to lead, by an ambition to heal, by a striving for innovation.

But even the most dedicated students can be daunted by financial crisis. In times of need, a financial lifeline can make the difference between a student’s academic success and what Langston Hughes called “a dream deferred.”

To help address the financial emergencies that occur in our students’ lives, UTMB Health has created the Student Lifeline Fund, an opportunity for our philanthropic partners—alumni, faculty, staff, friends and community leaders—to invest in our students’ success.

The Student Lifeline Fund will extend a helping hand to students in moments when they need it most. It will ensure that their successes are not derailed, that their professional ambitions come to fruition.
