How to Become a Giving Day Advocate

Giving Day is powered by the people who believe in the mission of UTMB. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends and supporters can all play a part by encouraging others to join in and give.

As a Giving Day Advocate, you can help spread the word to the people in your network. Your personal invitation can make a difference—people are more likely to give when they hear from someone they know and trust.

As a Giving Day Advocate, you’ll:

• 🙌 Sign up to become an Advocate and support the cause that means the most to you.
• 🔗 Get your own unique Advocate link that you can share with your friends, family, colleagues and social networks. Your link helps us track the donations you inspire!
• 📣 Spread the word by sharing Giving Day on social media, through email or wherever you connect with your network.
• 💙 Encourage others to participate by telling them why Giving Day matters to you and inviting them to make a gift.
